Bring on the 'Poch Out' simpletons.
Durham and Candy are laying it on thick today, though in fairness they do have a point about Poch making a ricket of his team selection and in game management.

TBF, I don’t think there have been too many Spurs that have bitten too hard, and the ones that have rung in have been pretty level headed.

Early days though I know...

Impossible to gauge when you have the little information available that fans and the media have though...doesn't stop the 'experts' in the media, and on here come to think of it.

Funny how when it was us beating Chelsea comprehensively it was "so what?!' from Durham.

No mention of that today from an Arsenal perspective.

In any case, it is what is - just laugh it off and hope for a quick respite with a win against Southampton

So the female Balon D’or winner was asked inappropriately if she twerked. So Talksport bring Julia Hartley Brewer on to do the outrage. Which is going fine until she mentions that Ginola presented the male award and he could twerk for her anytime.

I stayed tuned right up to the Newcastle bit when Jim White rolled out his usual ‘best fans in the land’ bit and now I’m sat in silence.

Give him his dues he knows how to pick and merge topics to wind people up. I bet he doesn’t believe half the things that comes out of his mouth. The numpties that call in are the real idiots.

Exactly. His entire job is to make outrageous statements that are designed to have maximum wind-up effect in order to get people to call in, then the station i.e. his employer, makes money from the calls, which in turn they use to pay his wages. That's literally the business model of the company he works for. I don't understand how so many people don't get that and fall for it time after time. Whether or not he believes a word of what he says is completely irrelevant to his job.

Charlie Adam on Jim White this morning talking about laying a marker on players, and he discussed his fouls on Bale

Not being funny but is this really a news? The whole "First tackle/First 5 minutes leave one on them/let them know you're there/let them know they're in a game/see if they're up for it" etc. etc. is something players have spoken about for decades and something we were taught as kids even. It's such a common thing to say that it's basically become a cliche to be honest. Not sure anything he's said is exactly "blowing the lid" on some industry secret really. It's far from a revelation.

An absolute shithouse of a player and one of the very few who genuinely deserved to have had his career cut much shorter through injury.

i agree but a lot of fans and pundits want football to be turned into a non contact sport like Netball

Perry Groves is fucking high. What a sad son of a bitch, every word he's said today has been absolutely mental.

It's EVERY adults responsibility to look out for youngsters, he's basically saying footballers should be allowed to do whatever they like and it won't affect kids because it's the parents fault.

Chump.

He's that slow, that I'm surprised he's ever got near the decent players.. Talk Sport love a cock.. Alladyce, Barton, Seaman and Gale come to mind. I'm sure there are many more to mention

Metalhead

But that's a debate for another thread.....

Jim White is funny though. Everyone he talks to or talks about is ‘just great ‘. It’s like he wants to be everyone’s friend.

Caught a bit of that, I normally don't listen to Jim White, but Groves was proper mental, I wish it had gone on a bit longer as I was sure he was going to completely freak out. What an absolute tool
