Well, Eric, what was needed was cool heads and slowing down their play with all sorts of black arts. None of this happened.
How about diving in and selling yourself when your the last man and 3-2 down!!!
Have they been taking dressing room selfies again?Loved his celebration and the reaction in the away end. Somebody tell me what was the difference between Dier and Ambeyang goading of the Spurs fans after his 1st goal. We’re always the bad guys!!! Roll on the next few weeks and we’ll see those muppets again! Bring on the lap of honour and dressing room selfies!!!!!
The problem is Dier getting feisty usually results in us not getting the result we want. He’s turned into a motivator for the other team
The fact he told Ramsey to get bench on the back on the bench and he comes off it to make two goals can’t be lost on him
It was great theatre and the gooners were really up for their cup final, well until they went behind.
Result aside it was one of the games of the season.
And these are the games arsenal fans want to leave behind when they are summoned up to the euro league.
I don't understand this at all. May have been one of the games of the season for Arsenal fans and neutrals, but it was an absolute shocker for us. Arsenal battered us for most of the game.
Being "entertaining" is not always a compliment. The Battle of the Bridge was "entertaining" - but mainly for everyone else. Still surprised people can't see that our indiscipline can cost us game - some seem too busy enjoying the fisticuffs. I'd prefer to win the game myself.
For me the Ars game was completely different to The Battle of the Bridge. We were pretty much off the pace for the entire game v Woolwich and I didnt enjoy it very much
At the bridge I thought we were fantastic 1st half and then Hazard woke up for his 1 game of that season and was World Class (unfortunately!)
Yes they wound us up and we bit but it was Hazards class that got them a point and we just couldnt stop him, however we tried! Also think we put a huge amount into that 1st hour and ran out of steam a bit which was understandable. Fair play to Chelscum coming back but imo we didnt throw 2 points away that night, chelsea clawed them back
Loved the game at SB
Arse battered us because they didn't have a game midweek (it was their reserves), they hadn't just come off the back of two intense high profile must win games. At the end some of our players looked spent. They were the better team on the day, but that doesn't mean they are a better team overall. It's weird, they have turned into West Ham, and this is their cup final, their game, their performance of the season. We'll destroy them at 'home'.
Someone should throw the term “power shift” in the fucking bin
