KWP has to play ahead of Aurier after his NLD performance for this one. Give the kid a chance Poch! Lucas and Winks in to rotate the squad too. And Rose in for Davies as has to be our first choice LB when fit.

Give Kane a rest. Looking at it KWP and Foyth next to each other is scary but hopefully against Southampton it shouldn't matter.

Due to numbers Foyth has to start, hopefully he has a good game to shake off todays. After that I’d play Toby and Jan in every game until Sanchez is back. I don’t think it’s helping Foyths development as I really don’t think he’s yet ready to start in the PL both physically and mentally. Play him in maybe one or two more in second half of season and look to start him gradually more next season.

You all want KWP and if he has a bad game then who do you want. Give Aurier the run of games and stop ditching players after a bad game

We'll see some rotation for sure. Sissoko played a lot recently and he looked jaded second half. Give him a rest with a view to Leicester.

All out attack and smash Southampton who really are bad at the back.

I think Lamela will be fit for this game, I don’t want to see Kane not even on the bench, rest him
Give KWP the chance

Aurier has played every game since the international break and will need multiple rests over the course of our grueling December. Going up against Southampton is a perfect chance to give KWP another opportunity while rotating the fullbacks, something Poch prefers to do when he can.

That being said it may makes sense to give Aurier one more run-out to get his confidence back up before rotating him next weekend and giving him a break before Barca. One way or the other I expect we'll see KWP given another chance soon.

I would expect KWP to start in the cup against Arsenal

I think trippier and lamela may be fit. I think we seriously have to think about resting Kane with Leicester (a) Saturday and then Barcelona. The schedule is crazy 9 back to back games now till new year.

Every player will have bad games now and then. The better / more consistent players will have lesser bad days than some of the others.

Trippier is out injured and we have a lot of games this month. We can’t risk playing Aurier in all these games until trippier gets back. This is a good time to play KWP especially as we will be playing some of the weaker sides in the upcoming games.

I disagree, I think it is helping Foyth's development, I guess you might think it might knock his confidence but I don't believe it has. That said, I was as surprised as anyone that he got the nod over Alderwiereld.

would def start Winks, KWP and Rose, would be tempted to give Kane a rest and play Son up front
