Agree with your reasoning but the only issue is Verts has only just come back from a hamstring injury, I think Poch will see 2 massive games in the space of a few days as too much for Verts.

Neither would I but Poch I think has a lot of faith in him, I was surprised he actually started on Saturday knowing that Vertonghen could have played.

Oh for sure, but crucially now Verts has minutes under his belt, unless Poch decides not to risk him feeling he needs to be protected from the injury recurring.

I never know I would see the day that people are genuinely unsure which of our England players should be picked to partner Sissoko in midflield!

One worrying aspect is that Arsenal have literally rested everyone for their europa league game so should be a lot fresher than our guys.

The Arsenal first team hasn’t even travelled.

Difficult choice between Dier and Winks.

Dier probably edges it as didn’t play again Inter so will be a little fresher plus maybe we need more steel for this one.
