He must be fit by now. Surely we would want him training so he’s in some sort of shape to sell. Be a bit harsh to make him train alone or with kids.

Not eating kebabs he's not going to be fit. Although at this rate, there'll be a few Sunday league sides interested

Which of Kaboul, Capoue, Adebayor, Bentaleb or Townsend have we regretted losing after falling out with Pochettino? Walker is the only real example and even then, it’s not as if he’s been superb or as of our remaining options are massively inferior.

Walker has been great for City and adapted well to be very good for England too. Let’s not play it down. Their full backs’ athleticism is what makes City tick, just like it used to us

What's Janssen's situation? Is he still injured? Would be great if we could move him on in January.

It’s all a mystery. Last we heard he was injured so I suspect he still is and is probably back resting up in Holland trying to get fit for the January window.

I saw him in Muswell Hill high street getting a takeaway kebab a few weeks ago, saw him get into his nice new R8.
I wish after not working for 18 months, that I could still afford to drive around in an R8.. I could just about pay for the Kebab though.

i really can't understand how someone with such a fantastic opportunity can have a weak mentality (as has been cited by a few)

I still feel bad for Janssen, it’s not his fault he isn’t of the required standard. We should never have signed him in the 1st place.

What’s his history? 1 season in the Dutch top flight for a mediocre team and prior to that he was playing in the Dutch lower leagues at a standard which is league 1/2 at best. He’s not too dissimilar to Vardy in that he was plucked from the lower leagues and given an opportunity. The difference between them is Vardy is physically fit and a tenacious little shit whereas Janssen resembles a chain smoking overweight Pavlyuchenko. Unless he had a ‘Bale’ fitness and physique transformation he was doomed to fail and expectedly he has.

Had he not been injured it would have been nice to see him given some minutes in the Mickey Mouse cup.

Come January, we’ll get sound bites from the club about how Janssen is banging them in during training and will be like a new signing

Actually think the difference is Janssen had done well at every level he had played at. Seem to remember him playing well against England.

So I think it was reasonable to think a young player showing some quality at international level to be someone with potential.

Just one we got wrong.

He always wanted to chase down, press, work hard off the ball iirc. Wish one of the ITKs would tell us what on earth he's done that's so wrong he's completely screwed any chance of redemption.

Nothing against him, he tries hard. Just don’t think he is good enough .

I think he’d be fine in the pl for a club where he isn’t expected to score every game. Being kane’s Back up isn’t easy either as llorente has shown.

I am surprised there hasn’t been much interest in him from clubs like Fulham and Southampton who are crying out for strikers.

If we had at least let him participate in training we may have had a shot at selling him to one of those teams. I realize he's injured but not even giving him a squad number certainly doesn't help our negotiating position.
