1st England call up, playing well, starting every week for team on the up, yeah bet when he plays on the indoor AstroTurf pitch I bet he can't wait to play at Spurs and play 2nd fiddle to Harry Kane.
Said the same before. Aside from his HG status his profile isn't right. Regardless of ability, he is to old and established to be Kane's number two. Would not help his career at all and would want more first team football bthen we would offer. We need someone younger and not so established.

Oh come on he’s playing in front of 11k every week. You really don’t think he’d rock up at Hotspur way and not have his head turned. How many serious chances is he gonna get to play in CL. There absolutely no reason him and Kane couldn’t play together.

I'd think he'd rather play as a first choice striker as opposed to sitting on the bench week in week out yes, it doesn't make any sense whatsoever career wise for him to move to Spurs.

I sure he would love to play in the CL, but he has had to fight hard to get his chance for an England call up, and he won't wreck that chance by sitting on the bench the majority of the rest of his career

What we really need is a top quality, Carrick-type DM I think. So are there any players out there that fit that kind of profile?

Disagree. We need a box to box CM. Someone that can break the lines, which is what Dembele does so well. We already have enough passers

Generally the best way to break the lines is with good intelligent and quick passing, we certainly do not have enough of these.

When Winks doesn't play we dont have anyone in the DM roles who does that. Dembele can do it by gliding passed people but he is not going to be with us next season, which will leave us even shorter than we are now. I feel if we had better or at least more players who could do this, our GK & CBs wouldn't find themselves under severe pressure in defensive positions so often.

Dier, Wanyama & Sissoko are all weak in this area mentioned so instead of making progress forward the ball continually goes back to CB & GK.

I think people are being incredibly harsh on Sessegnon and are forgetting how young he actually is. People should remember that Bale, in his early spurs career, was relatively poor for us.

Sessegnon is young, new to the league and is still adapting to a new position, when he would've played his entire career to date at LB. He's also playing in a very poor Fulham team.

I'd be delighted if we signed him and i'm absolutely sure that he'd thrive in the atmosphere that we've created for young players such as himself.

Bale was Incredible on his debut against man utd where he played left midfield so no what you said was not true. His injury shook him badly though. Bale was a whole different level at the same age. Sessengon is nowhere near Bales level at the same age. Ridiculous comparison.

Sessengon is so overrated its ridiculous. I doubt he will be more than a mid table player in prem or championship.

I agree we need a box to box, more so I feel than we need a deep lying playmaker. But Im not sure we have enough passers. Brute force yes, but not passers.

We need another player who is capable of both passing quickly forward to spring the attackers as well as someone who can dribble through the lines. Hence why Ndombele is so intriguing to all of us, although we all assume he's unachievable.

So you've gone so far the other way you've purposely under rated him? 17/18 year showing so much promise notching up as many minutes as he has and now at the top level, there's generally a reason why he's highly rated. There's a reason why there's an abundance of players this age don't get near the amount of games that's he's played so far, the kid is special.

There's nothing to suggest that he's over rated apart from this alleged price tag of £50m that seems to be a myth based on some rumours anyway and tbh if it were indeed the case Fulham are well within their rights to value him that much based on the stupid prices clubs pay for players these days.

I quite like someone like Callum Wilson will be training at Hotspur way this week and staying in the new player lodge. Must surely influence his thinking.

I still think we missed a trick with Joshua King.

Lot of people in here were poo poo’ing him but he’s got 4 in 8 so far this season and can also play wide attacker.

He hasn't stood out and doesn't start for Bournemouth. Who would he play ahead of? Son? Lucas? I think not.

Squad option to give us some depth.

He is distinctly average - I can't agree at all that we missed out on him. He's not better than Shane Long or Charlie Austin - we need to be signing top class, youth with the potential to be top class or someone who Is very good at a particular role such as target man.

I would rather us have signed Rondon than King (that's not to say I wanted Rondon, I didn't, but you get the point)
