These kind of games can be just as educational, if not more so, than the open games where we bag four and education is the be all and end all at this level. Naff teams that just try and stop you playing are all part of the game. If we're getting found out then some of players have some learning to do. Its no fun for the spectators but remember at U23 level your entertainment is not the object of the exercise.

I've actually just noticed that its Eyoma vs Eyoma. TJ versus his older brother Aaron. Aaron was with us until U15 level when he was pinched by the Gooners, hadn't realised that he was on loan to Derby.

Don't know if it's been posted as I've been off. Haysman, BBW and Hackett called up to England u15 camp and played in game against Sheffield United, Forson also there and scored a couple. Still unattached

John and Watt are with England u16s in France.

Our u18s beat Southampton 3-1. White scored another freekick, and our u16s beat Southampton 4-1.

I wonder what's going on with Forson. Have we threatened to obstruct if he goes to a rival, as we did with Kirby? Whatever the case he must be frustrated and possibly regretting his decision. I assume he's not currently able to train and as such as missing out on a chunk of structured development.

So what did we learn from yesterday's game?

Ill tell you what I learned from yesterdays game. That TOB, Bowden and Maghoma arent close to the same level Winks and Onomah were at the same age. and that tanganga and eyoma need to improve there ball playing skills if they ever want to make it at tottenham. In fairness to both of them they were both excellent defensively.

To answer @therhinospeaks seriously, what we learned is when exposed to an aggressive split-press our centrebacks are somewhat deficient at passing out from the back. Given that this is a requisite for a Tottenham Hotspur centreback then we can say what needs to happen is for both Eyoma and Tanganga to face that kind of adversity more regularly because they're going to face it a hell of a lot at senior level if they're ever to make it with us, which I have to believe is what both of them want.

I imagine so. He probably should have left at the end of this year, can't imagine we would have been too happy and stifled his move. He is currently just training by himself.

With Eyoma being on the bench does that mean that he rates him higher than Tanganga? I like Eyoma but Imo Tanganga is better than him and is more of a leader

it's either that or tanganga's not being considered until he signs a new deal.

Eyoma may be as he can cover fb and cb. Marsh is so pointless I’d rather see Bowden or maghoma. Amazing TOB dropped right out. Well not amazing but you know what I mean.
