I imagine if Levy was buying a pack of mints he'd initially hand over half the marked price to the till assistant.

Id be happy to let them have foyth for a season to get some games. Would really help his development to play week in week out.

Him getting games would be great but I'd imagine we'd rather it be somewhere where he can hone his ball playing skills than under Steve Bruce :nailbiting:

These Villans lol they have no clue!! ... Levy giving half upfront??? 1% upfront, rest over 5, with option to give half back if not satified with a 10% penalty fee lol!!

Really hope it's Edwards going there on loan. Grealish supposedly had an attitude problem before Steve Bruce got into him, hopefully he can sort Edwards attitude problem out too

Neither is Onomah on that basis.

I know what you're saying, but the difference between CCV and Onomah is - one has been playing in his natural position and the other hasn't.

Onomah's appearances for Villa have mainly been playing out wide.

On a side issue to us potentially getting Grealish; I think it's really sad what's happening to Villa. They've always been a top flight team in my lifetime, League winners, European Champions, now reduced to selling a promising kid to pay debts. Relegation or 'not being as good as we used to be' is one thing, but the very real prospect of a great club like that actually going out of business is a sobering thought.

And why is that?

You could well be right sir.
And I agree about Grealish keeping possession very well that is the one aspect of his game that's stuck with me. Im still concerned about trying to replace Dembele I've never seen anybody come close to how he is with the ball.

I didn't think we would be able to replace Modric. But Dembele, who was a good, but not spectacular player (IMO) came in and has become a fan favourite and made that position his own.
Im not "excited" by grealish, but he could still be a success here.
