Absolutely right and the club's going to play it like P T Barnham at his best.Looks to be the first moves in bumping the entire wage structure.

I think the big contracts are a lot more complicated - not just on the money.
Those players want to see a commitment from the Club towards continued improvement before they sign their own deals. Ideally, Poch gets a new deal soon, which sends the signal to the players that Levy will back Poch, which leads to players signing extension.
Surgery??? Where did you hear or see that?Great news on Winks. Easy to forget after the injuries that he was a star in the two Real Madrid games, Liverpool at home and also was MOTM in his first competitive game with England. Apparently he will be having surgery to clear his ankle up but looking forward to him being available again next season. Big talent.
Yeah, good news. But a tentative indication at best as to whether things are really changing. It’s the big boys and Poch that really matter. The youngsters getting new contracts is great and all, but we all know we are hoping for some of the big boys (Eriksen,Dele,Jan,Kane) to be announced soon.

I reckon there is... think the next one will be at 3pm.Absolutely delighted for Winksy. I believe he's got all the tools to be a real star in the future.
The question now is can I get on with some work today or is there more still to come?
Great news on winks, slightly surprised by CCV in all honesty. If poch still rates him, then I've no problem with it, if not, I guess we're making sure we get a higher fee for him.
Just how busy is this day?
It’s actually ITK discussion and the itk was about today’s business which is contract renewalsCan we get this thread back on topic please? Unless I’ve forgotten how to read, this is the “TRANSFER RUMOURS” section of the site, not the “RENEWAL CORNER”.
Thanks in advance for your cooperation.
