Out in the group stages please ??

Regardless of whether you are an England fan, wishing failure on our players in what is possibly the most important few months in their careers (to them) is baffling to me.

I hope you don’t criticise our players if they don’t show loyalty to the club because you clearly hold them in disdain.

I don’t care about England, I would much rather our players were well rested and relaxing in Bora Bora in preparation for our season rather than stressed to buggery by the British press and run ragged in a fucking hell hole for additional unnecessary games in a tournament that they won’t win.

It’s not likely that they’ll win it, but it’s no less likely than them winning something big with us. You are actively willing our players to fail in the biggest moment of their careers to date. Not cool!

Yeah I am, the sooner they’re on the beach the better.

Oh and to think England have a better chance of winning something than Spurs is absolutely fucktarded, you lost the argument as soon as that thought entered your head.

Oh and the second point you added later, no I have no problem with players coming and going because I’m not a four year old

By this logic our fanbase has an average age of...

Nonetheless, wishing our players to fail is shitty. No two ways about it.

Back to the thread- I’m pleased/proud to have all of our players playing in the World Cup regardless of nationality. It’s a significant moment in their careers and one that doesn’t come around often.

Yeah they do, most of our fans, like fans of all clubs act like overgrown children (Arsenal fan Tv is a perfect demonstation), getting there biggest taste of success in life vicariously through their football club.

That’s neither good nor bad, it just is.

To be clear, I don’t wish our players to fail. I want England to fail and any other team with multiple Spurs players in. There is a separation between the two.

Ha ha. I don't agree with you, but that marvellous sentence deserves to be agreed with.
