I admire your optimism, but don't share it I'm afraid.
It's not just United though is it? If it were I'd fancy our chances....but feel youre setting yourself up for disappointment.

Thats a vid of the draw/ I cant see anything
Don’t be silly. It’s well known behind the scenes that Zola has special vision and can see through plastic/wood/metal with special “eyes” in his wrists.
Everyone knows this and that’s why the BBC hired him in order to conspire to lose us the cup.
if we'd been hoovering up trophies over the last few years it would be pessimism, but I think the term you're looking for is, unfortunately, realism mate.I admire your pessimism...
I'm talking about beating United, followed by probably Chelsea.
If it was just United I'd fancy our chances, but both...don't think we're quite there yet.
Did I miss the round of Kool-Aid or something? They're unrelated games though, and we already know we can beat anyone in a one off game.
Did I miss the round of Kool-Aid or something?
Of course we can beat anyone in a one off game, but this is two of them, back to back in the same competition, that's far from unrelated I'm afraid.
I'm just saying we're unlikely to win the cup.
Hand on your heart Riggs, do u honestly think we'll win it?You're so negative pfff
Hand on your heart Riggs, do u honestly think we'll win it?
Not do u want us to, or on our day can we...
I just can't see it myself, especially so soon after we ballsed it up vs Juventus, that just showed me we're still lacking something mentally, and that was only a week or so ago.
We've recovered well from that game and we have done it in spite of losing Kane to injury, which arguably could have dealt the team a mental blow -I'm optimistic.Hand on your heart Riggs, do u honestly think we'll win it?

We've done well, but I don't share your optimism sadly. We've recovered well from that game and we have done it in spite of losing Kane to injury, which arguably could have dealt the team a mental blow -I'm optimistic.

I should point out that with predictions and general feeling about games, I'm quite often wrong...and nothing would make me happier than getting this one completely arse about tit.
You probably don't want to get your hopes up: perfectly reasonable. If we were drawn against Man City I would feel pessimistic but any of the other teams, I feel like we can do it.We've done well, but I don't share your optimism sadly.

They quite often completely surprise me, hope to god they do here.Let's hope the team don't have the same mentality as you shall we

I'm going to use a quote that many a United fan has used before to me and others.United fans having a moan about us having a 'home' tie. Taking my Spurs specs off, I do have some sympathy for that argument. Some of us would probably complain if the boot was on the other foot.
