The tell tale sign for me is he's normally so proactive with contracts. But Toby has said we haven't even started talks yet about his new deal, and we could so easily have prevented this entirely predictable Rose situation by starting talks over a new deal this summer, telling him how much we value him, pay rise on the way etc. And none of this of would have happened.

The fact that none of this has been done is completely against his MO, and obviously the abject failure to improve the squad, I think the stadium is the be all mad end all for DL now, it's his end game, the reason he came to the Clun in the first place. To do a truly giant property deal, make a billion pounds clear profit and disappear into the night.
did he just signed a new contract at the beginning of 2017?

Absolutely crucial that we don't sell him this summer. That's what he wants. Sell him now and it sets a precedent that if you kick up a fuss then we'll let you go and triple your wages elsewhere.

If Poch doesnt want him in his squad then sit him in the stands for a year. We have to put our foot down here or there could be an exodus.

I'm not sure what the solution is. But how long before The Rose situation develops into Toby, Delli, Victor etc?

That's all well and good, but he has now all but publically called half his team mates shit, and said they are not up to the job.

The googling part won't have endeared to some in the squad. You could have said the same about Alli, Dier, Eriksen, Vertonghen.

Just sell him now and get as much cash as possible would be my view. Do we really want him about the place now?

For me we sell him under one condition. We get Shaw and Martial in return from Utd. If those two deals can be done then we can move on by killing two birds with one stone. If we can't do that then I agree we don't sell, we go all out for Sessegnon and we let Rosey rot in the reserves until he's ready to come back.

I just don't see how we can adequately replace Rose before the window shuts. We still haven't replaced Walker despite knowing he's off for months. We'll probably end up using Vertonghen as a backup LB. What an utter shitshow this transfer window is :(

Just needs to sign for Chelsea and then claim he will be the greatest prime minster the world has known

And his journey towards becoming sol Campbell will be complete

I think the point is that could lead to the flood gates opening, maybe not this window but what happens if Dele, Eriksen, Toby etc follow suit?

Ok, so what if Toby/Dele/Eriksen decide they want out as well and they do the same as Rose. Do you sell them as well?

Its a World Cup year. Rose will buckle down and play 100% if he wants to start for England in that.

Don't understand this 'want to win trophies thing'

We all want trophies you prick but actually you're one of the only 18 people who can affect this

Maybe instead of just fucking off to a money club, you and your mates who 'aren't paid what you deserve' could not bottle big games and then win some trophies by actually earning it?

Actually do fuck off to a money club you large chested fuck

There is a possibility that is inevitable anyway. This is very serious stuff. We have to make a choice now as a club - do we pay these guys the wages they want (and probably deserve) or do we accept we will lose 2/3 of them every season?

Have we peaked as a club under these owners?
There is no sign we actually want to compete financially at the top.(Wages, signings etc)
We are clearly punching above our weight, but this isn't sustainable.
The way things are looking the only way is down.
This could be the beginning of the end of this great team.
We have some of the best players in their positions in the entire league.
Far, far inferior players are getting paid alot more than ours.
Bottom line is we have to start paying our players top wages or they will leave.
Who's next? Rose? Toby? Dele? Eriksen? Lloris? Kane???
We are owned by a billionaire and are one of the richest clubs in world football.
We have to address this now or the team going into our new stadium will be a shadow of this team.
The ball is in Levy's court and if anymore of our top players leave it's on him and the owners.
