Well actually we've won the league cup in the last 10 years ...Agree, we've both won nothing for the last 10 years.

Barkley Has Surgery On Groin Injury
Ross Barkley underwent surgery today on his groin, with the injury having prevented him from travelling with the Everton team last week to Tanzania and this week to Holland. The surgery has been a success and he is expected to be able to return to play in approximately four weeks.
Ramiro Funes Mori has had a problem within his knee and has undergone further surgery in Barcelona which will require prolonged rehabilitation of a minimum of six to nine months. The defender tore his meniscus while on international duty with Argentina in March.
I would guess that puts an end to any interest.
Absolutely no point in signing him this window if he's not going to be fit til the season starts, and then gonna need Poch-conditioning and learning the system.
Ah, the old Malbranque "injury".Willy surgery...
Snigger.
DL probably wanted 50% off for damaged goods so Everton are "fixing him".What the hell is going on?
He could have had that operation weeks ago.
All very strange.
All jokes aside, we need some medical expertise on this thread, because a 4 week recovery from a groin injury sufficiently serious to require surgery feels optimistic.
And if Barkley is out for a couple of months, that really does change Poch's preparations for the new season and Levy's calculations on the price he's prepared to pay for a player in the last year of his contract.
