Very difficult to catch them still, but am wondering if those who said we were out of the title race have changed their minds?

Think we should keep concentrating on getting 3 points each game and let chelsea do their thing. Hopefully the last day we are still in with a shout.
I've changed my mind, didn't think we were in a tile race earlier in the season despite being second as the points difference was so huge. Now I think we could do it - still don't think we will, but we could. Hopefully I'll be as wrong with my current prediction as I was with my earlier one.

Aren't Everton unbeaten at home this season?

Southampton isn't the home banker some think either.

What I'm saying is, we'll be top of the league when we beat Arsenal.

Still difficult now, as it was then. That's why you concentrate on your next game. Don't say we're going to win the league until we have, don't say we're out of the race until we are.
Pick up points and let the others worry about theirs. The season is 38 games.

Everton have only lost once in the PL at home this season (Mane 94th minute winner), but they lost to Leicester at home in the FA Cup and Norwich at home in the EFL Cup.

My cash out bet just woke up on betfair!

Had 70 quid on us to win the title at 12/1 at start of season.
I put a fiver on us to win title and Kane to be top scorer around about the time of the Chelsea game at the lane. 66/1. Maybe...

Best thing is they have a genuine chance of losing their next game. If we can get within 3 points of them it's going to get very exciting.

I'm not sure I could take a final day of the season if we have a chance of winning. Willing to find out though!

I hope all the pundits talk up Chelsea's chances next week and talk ours down.

The temptation will be for them all to jump on the bandwagon and talk about us winning before a ball is kicked and there being a momentum swing. I'd prefer us being tagged the underdogs and avoid all the expectation being heaped on us all for the rest of next week.

I know it's a tired old phrase but we need to play it one game at a time rather than looking too far ahead. On top of that I'm still not convinced that whoever wins has a massive momentum shift in the race for the title. It could equally work the other way and make the losing team focus even more on the title.

Either way it's exciting times COYS !!!

Chelsea's body language was awful today, including from the manager. Tetchy, lacking focus, belligerent in the wrong way. That's very strange at this point in the season. That's what I'll be watching for in the next game: are the Chelsea factions and egos coming to the fore again?

Interesting Poch was so vocal on the touchlines yesterday and Conte so subdued as Neville is pointing out now.

All about momentum.

The result today and the narrowing of the gap to four points is the biological equivalent of an octogenarian experiencing a semi; it probably won't lead anywhere but while there's wood there's a could

Next week is so so crucial, I think the game is more about the fa cup but also essentially a title decider perhaps

Cup doesn't matter and that Mane one was a fix.

They'll drop points at goodison. Coming off the back of that 3-0 drubbing at home against Southampton will be hard for them.
