Poch post game:

It is crazy how the goals came in the last few minutes but we pushed and we created chances to win. Today was a difficult game and the team showed big character. The most important thing is the badge. When you play for Tottenham it is not about the names, it is about the team. This season we are showing that we are a team."

Yeah right, like you ain't got one scheduled anyway :D
I remember years ago I used to carry a diary for work just to keep notes in.
I remember this apprentice I had, great lad, climbing in my van , picking it up and saying " MONDAY- had a wank. TUESDAY- had a wank. WEDNESDAY- had a wank, THURSDAY-.... Fkin hell mate you need to leave it alone". :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Fyi thats not what it said

Was anyone else impressed with that Mawson lad's performance for Swansea tonight?

He looks like a tidy young player.

Not that I'd rush out the door to sign him, but he did cause us a few issues when he was on the ball and from set pieces.

He's a legend in my eyes for changing the inherent weakness at our club.

Dele Allí is the mixed race Inzaghe crossed by Thomas Muller. His ability to be in the right place at the right time is absolutely incredible, on some serious next levels of football telepathy.

Fk you're in for a treat. Some serious egg on faces and copious amounts of humble pie to be eaten by some.
Thing is in recent seasons we've turned quite a few games around late on. We've so much possession the opposition are knackered. And yet so many start shitting the bed just 20min in when its 1.0
It is frustrating to see us having loads of possession and do nothing with it but its a 90min game so chill and see what happens. Some were ready to make double subs at ht lol.
What a game that was. Huge.

The problem is so many of us are brainwashed with:

the days of old when Spurs were cold
and youth hadn't been invented,
we'd get a draw,
when nights were raw,
and went away contented!

I've already got my coat!

How so? How have we justified to the footballing world that we are not legends?
We didn't do it last season, we went out in the group stages of the CL, lost to Genk in the Europa this season but now we beat Swansea in stoppage time we aren't legends anymore, I don't think so.

How the fuck can you claim we have no bottle when we have gained way more points than any other Club from losing positions this season.

We will make mistakes as a young group of players but we're progressing and improving all the time.

If you can't see the bigger picture, and it's painfully obvious, you could do with picking another sport.

legends, do me a favour. Our mental strength has improved considerably under Pochettino.

The problem is we're becoming victims of our own success. The minute things start to get shaky or frustrating, heaven forbid another team has a say in the way a game is going, and you get impatient types on here lashing out and labelling the team as legends lol

Its actually incredible really.

How sexy was Eriksen's body feint for that 3rd goal.

Seriously. Thought his play was pretty excellent and glad his shot / cross found its way so perfectly for Dele to slot home.

Credit to Janssen too for the flick that put Sonny in. That was delish
