Having said that, I just won at 14/1 with a £50 free bet so from William Hills point of view I just won £700 off them, even though I only got £50 in reality :-(

I've been put off the horses due to the stories I'm reading of people getting their accounts gubbed and blaming the horse bets. Anyone getting gubbed at all?

Bet365 withdrew promotions from me after I'd had like 2 bets with them on the Live C4 Racing offer. Stupidly enough, they haven't withdraw that offer as it's valid for everyone.

That's the only one I've had issues with so far.

Boyles. But everyone gets gubbed by Boyles so no loss really.

Just toted up my horse racing refund profits from Fri-Sun and made £204 and that's without doing any dutching that most people earnt a few hundred from :)

Up to just over £1400 total profit now from 1st October to present. It's been roughly £600 per month for Oct and Nov and seems sustainable.

This was 2 weeks ago ^^^, since then I've made around another £800, largely from the racing refunds.

Total is now around £2200. This month should easily top £1000 profit (and that's with skipping Boxing day, etc).

Not touched accumulators at all and only done 3 or 4 dutching races so a lot of potential for more if I had the time. I won't lie, it's quite a lot of effort, especially on the saturday with the bulk of the horse racing and football to cover but as a "wage" it's probably something like £100/hour.

So first race at Navan this morning, two strong favourites and the rest were nowhere near.

I had bets on both of them with William Hill. The 2F won by 6 lengths so I should get a 25% bonus on the winner and £25 free bet on the 2nd horse.
I've been worried about getting gubbed by doing something like this, William Hill is one account I definitely don't want to lose.

I've had a bad day on the horses today, not one of my refunds came through so i'm down about £25 following all the qualifying losses.

Yeah that often happens me as well, hence asking Rob did he have a strategy for it and asking how they guarantee profit on the PS forum. Have you started dutching yet?

I haven't had any luck with racing refunds either, I dunno how Rob does it!

No haven't started dutching yet, I literally done every race yesterday as I was at home and wife and kids were out. But none of my refunds came through and q/l were £2-£4 per bet.

I will look into dutching though but wanted to try and build up my funds first.

Yeah I hear you. The sky offer just now, money back as a free bet if your horse finishes 2nd or 3rd, was toying between 2 horses, went with Byres Road at 9.0, safe enough you'd think. It won. My other pick came 3rd. It's really frustrating at times cause that was a big chunk gone out of the exchange as well.

Yep, also tried doing the paddy power one where you get money back if your horse finishes 2nd to the SP Fav. So generally I've been picking the 2nd fav, but the problem is the odds can change around a lot before the race starts and different horses can become the fav, including the horse that I backed, making my bet useless before the race has even started!!

I find the easiest one to do is Bet365, simple back a winner of 5.0 or over for a risk free bet. The only issue is finding a close match with betfair to reduce qualifying loss.

Personally, I've had no luck with the 2nd place finishes. I keep backing winners and now my exchange cash is next to nothing.

Today was pretty crap. I did all the Paddy Power and William Hill offers and only hit 1 refund. Was really close (by a neck) to some large refunds but just missed out. Still ended up in profit though as had small qualifying losses and the 1 refund covers them all and I won with the Skybet offer and Boyle crossbar offer so still £50 or so up today.

I only do the refund offers if I get a close enough match, I do the maximum £25 bet but don't do it if I can't find a match if it's more than £1 QL. I had a crap day yesterday and got one on Betway today, I even lost the skybet one when that shoukd have almost been a banker. I got the boylesports crossbar one although I don't have my extra winnings yet. I'm now hoping for palace to come back and atleast draw against the goons (ha!) as I lumped on 100 on the paddy power 2up offer on goons winning.

Why is Chetltenham good for dutching? Is it just when the most offers are on from bookies?

It's one of the main meetings of the year so there will be lots of bookie offers flying about, I would imagine aintree, goodwood and Ascot will be just as profitable, especially with the best odds guaranteed that the bookies do.
