The Championship is brutal if you don't have any previous experience with the league, but I think Benitez is a good enough manager to avoid the pitfalls that so many others have fallen into.

A fan of theirs who's a colleague of mine called Benitez "the best manager they've had since Robson.". I don't disagree. Shame for them that they didn't sack Schteve and bring him in in January.

Absolutely insane decision from Benitez, what on earth is he thinking?!

Good for Newcastle though.

Im not sure I agree, Benitez for me is too good for the championship. Naturally you think, well that it is brilliant but it I don't think that will help him

The championship treats those people who have been schooled in it, well but turns managers who think they are better than they are in to fools.

Would he and Clough be the only managers to win both the Championship and Champions League?

He's rich, he's carrying cash, what's the big deal?
We all know he's loaded but I thought it was highly insensitive that entering somewhere and is surrounded by employees, that his company has been treating so bad and underpaying, he pulls out a few grand in front of them.

Don't really know the context, where was he and why did he have to empty his pockets? Carrying something that is hidden away is hardly rubbing their noses in it, did he know in advance that he would have to take it out?

I'm not a big fan of Mike Ashley, but I think it unfair to call him out on this.

I mean it's not as if he's taken his shirt off in public and started lashing himself with his belt whilst dancing drunkenly and having people touch his sweaty moobs, is it?

I mean. That really would be worth calling out, wouldn't it? :sneaky:
