Reads to me like the stadium is costing more than anticipated. Not really that surprising as a lot of these large projects do run over budget quite often.

When Madrid have sold big players for big money it's always just after they've bought bigger players for even bigger money, which hasn't happened this window, so I don't think there's any chance of Isco coming personally.

They can't buy players due to the transfer ban. Part of the reason why they only wanted to loan him out and not sell him outright.

Isn't it funny that the information that the stadium is running over budget has just come to light now, on the exact same day that our supposed transfer targets all fail to materialise. Remarkable coincidence.
