I am getting a bit concerned about the whole Adebayor affair now. I've got a gut feeling he will stay whether he plays or not just to pick up his wages. I personally think you cannot even give him away as he will not get what he earns at Spurs, we are STUCK with him. Fingers crossed my gut is wrong.
Ah, so he'll change religion but not his club...
“We can’t afford to waste time. We do not have the time. We need a striker as soon as possible,” Al Naboodah told Gulf News

With the Adriano deal falling through, the buzz is that former Togo and Tottenham Hotspur star Emmanuel Adebayor is now being wooed by Al Ahli.
Al Ahli of Dubai, btw.

Maybe he'll ask for a beach and helicopter like Gervinho! Jazira didn't give it, hopefully Ahli will.He won't go. His bling won't be any blingier than anyone elses.

I'm getting pretty sick of the endless "news" stories about Ade getting put on here. People seem to be looking for anything to post up to keep the hate going. How on earth is this newsworthy?
There's never been any question that he has the ability. All his problems are in the top two inches. If he gets his head right we've got a great addition to the squad. He gets a lot of stick because he's paid well but that's not all his fault. Someone at the club should have considered his attitude and what a big pay package might do to him. We'd love him to leave and take a giant pay cut but if we're honest would we do the same ourselves? Someone has to back up Kane next season, IF either he or Soldado could take up some slack we wouldn't need to enter the transfer market.Good luck to him, If it makes him feel better and focusses him then great. I've been quite vocal on wanting him gone. If he did pull it together it would solve so many problems we are looking at in signing a second striker.
Highly optimistic though and really I still hope he leaves with his wage bill
