It continues today, wraps up this evening. Day 1 was centered around Deflategate, Day 2 around PATs in general. They have yet to discuss overseas expansion.

Is it ridiculously stupid to say that Ings turns 24 in July, but we'd have to pay a compensation fee for him? I'm guessing it's a different rule for players from the our country?

He turns 23 in July, don't know if it makes a difference though.

Ings turns 23 In July and his contract end in June, so he only just qualifies.

Yes it will. They're putting an obscene amount of money into making sure it does and Super Bowl European ratings suggest that it's working.
We will own the stadium, the NFL will not even be using our hallowed turf.

The simple fact is that it's about money for Spurs and nothing else, all real clubs (sans fairy godfather) have to diversify their revenue streams if they're going to expand and grow. Real are building a theme park in the UAE, Barcelona did it by tarnishing their shirts with the Qatar Foundation and then Qatar Airways, Intel and Beko.
Back in merry ol' England, Arsenal did this through converting Highbury into some incredible flats, we can't do that because;
A. Tottenham is a shithole where you can't charge £750,000 for a flat.
B. We're knocking down the current incarnation of WHL to make way for the new one.

So we're going diversify by letting some American peanut huggers borrow the stadium for a few hours when it would otherwise be empty.
If the deal goes ahead, there is no drawback from Spurs point of view

I just want to back this up. He has just kept improving since he signed for Brugge - improved more than most people were expecting. Also, his distribution is exceptional, absolutely first class, if you are unsure.... find the youtube video floating about, you won't regret it.

I still have concerns over his height but I think for what else he can offer I'd still take the punt

I don't see why people freak out about keepers being on the shorter side. As long as he is 6ft +, and have agility to abundance, I don't see the issue. Shilton was 6ft, Taffarel 6ft, Ravelli 6ft 1, Jorge Campos 5ft 9!! Also, Michel Preud'Homme, (currently the manager at his club, Club Brugge) was also 6ft. Would not be surprised if he has had a big hand in Ryan's development, would love to see this happen. Have him as an understudy to Lloris for a year or two, and when Lloris decides to move on, we'll have a young replacement ready-made for the league. Just my thoughts

No one has poo pood the kono link yet and surely people coming to white Hart Lane for nil could only benefit us on the terms already suggested? However as said by @LexingtonSpurs would the money be going to spurs or enic?

It's wrapped up. The only stadium deals talked about were domestic ones. Also the NFL is considering playing regular season games elsewhere, besides London.
http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap30...any-to-host-nfl-games-league-explores-markets
That's from March ;)

Here are some updates from today (not to get too off-topic)
http://www.49ers.com/news/article-2...rancisco/ca637f9a-8155-4bed-a6d3-28a31b20b1a3

Some earlier discussion is similar to that in March
"-As for the league's stance on growing the game globally, Goodell said there's interest in playing another regular season game in Mexico, in addition to the current slate of games in England. The commissioner also said that there's "some interest" in hosting a future Pro Bowl in Brazil and growing media availability in Germany."

All of the details of today are not officially out yet, though.

I don't want to talk too much about this here though, as I'm not too sure how far this is straying from transfer itk. I haven't seen @Archibald&Crooks discuss whether or not he's leaving this thread open to NFL expansion talk.
