Am I the only person who thinks on current form we'd be better off with Clint up top and Siggy in behind rather than a very off form Defoe ?

Rated like rather than agree because it's a creative solution that might work or backfire terribly. I'm up for giving it a go though, Joe.

Is the cobra just compiling all the itk from here or trying to pass it off as its own?

I only ever see it reposted on here so don't know if it just summarises recent itk or not?

The Cobra is basically The Fighting Cock's version of the Goat. So it's from general sources etc, and likely to overlap other ITK as well.

The Cobra is another site's version of the Goat, an anonymous voice for itk.

*edit - damn you Spurs Bear, damn you to hell!

Have we signed a striker yet?

Someone invent some ITK so we can talk about it. Please. Anything. I don't care if it's made up or ridiculous. ANYTHING. I'M DESPERATE.

I have to say, in recent days I was fairly confident we would bring in the players required.
I thought there may be one or two out first, but then once the wage bidget was trimmed, we'd see 2-3 incomings.
I expected/expect Holtby to be in before the week is out.
I figured we'd bring in a DM to cover Sandro, someone like M'vila or Diame, or maybe Sissoko since he's available for a relatively low fee (Sissoko not strictly a DM, more like Dembele, but together and with Parker in the mix too we'd be rock solid).
Then finally a last day striker. Either a Negredo type option for now, or maybe a younger/cheaper option who we feel can add a bit of depth short term and improve personally beyond long term in our setup.
Maybe even Callejon on loan too at a push, as a bonus to offer some depth at RW/RF.

Now the reality hits, and with Defoe rumoured to be joining the injured list, and our only other striker away on International duty, the striker dilemma has just got a whole lot worse, and a whole lot more urgent.

As others have said above, I'm not convinced about Callejon as the out and out forward option, as he seems to play more of a wide right role. As for Hooper, I remain indifferent either way. He does play in a weaker league, but he can only play against what is infront of him, and he has scored consistantly in the SPL, not mention a decent goals return in CL too. I'd hope for someone with more presence about them in theory, but basically someone who can come in and do a good job will do right now. I do question whether we would/could agree a fee with Celtic, or if they will jack up his price too far to be worthwile.

Injury is threateneing to ruin our season, and our squad is not balanced enough in terms of depth to cope at this moment in time.
In all honesty, if we don't get a striker, I'd recall Kane. I thought he'd get more game time at Norwich to develop, but he seems to be benched kost weeks now, and we are short on numbers.

Still staying positive we will get the players in we need, but starting to feel the TW nerves kicking in.
I don't think AVB thinks he is ready yet, he said earlier in the season he would be our 4th striker but sent him on loan instead.

I heard we were in talks with DJ Campbell from QPR, but his wage demands of 3 gold teeth and some tattoo ink were too much for us to even consider.

If this could be added to the RO it'd be greatly appreciated.

Oh dear oh dear. You do know who Neil Easton is, right?

I'm guessing he's talking about wanyamma.

Gone already? Is that why I couldn't quote the post?

Having trouble believing ANYTHING off twitter tbh, too many trolls and WUMs.

People seem to get a kick out of winding others up on there.

Then they hide behind 'my personal account' or 'that was just opinion' - put that in the original tweet then you WUM!!!!!

Crackers has tweeted that JD is not injured....

"@crackersTHFC: Defoe is not injured. Not from the horses mouth but from someone well involved at the 'stable'"

If Defoe is NOT injured can we stop putting Ali Z in the RO? Seems to me he's spouted nothing but crap this TW.
