Has there been any additional mentioning of PEA? You guys knew I'd be the one to ask. I was at work, that "news" broke, and then nothing again unless I missed it?

My response was humorous. The constant 'he said, she said etc', is not. Not even slightly.

Ok, sorry, but its constant though isnt it? They who shant be named is a **** or a ****. Why? Because you took what they past on and felt they wanted to share with us all, at the time of writing or being told, was definite. Things change...its not necessarily their fault things dont materialise!

Chill out people, we are all supporters of the same team and want for the same thing - our spurs to be successful!

The flip side is that there are tons of people on twitter posting stuff they know to be untrue just to get followers and then bitching when people complain.
I am a fan and would like the information - I'd like not to get my hopes up simply because someone decides to lie. What compounds this is when others jump on the bandwagon and it becomes credible.

For example (just Twatted into existence minutes ago):
@FootballAgent31: Tottenham manager Andre Villas-Boas has expressed his delight after signing Brazilian striker Leandro Damiao. #itk

Followed by:
@FootballAgent31: AC Milan have bid 32 million for Robert Snodgrass and Grant Holt. More as I get it #itk

I think much of the problem is that there is no clear distinction between personal opinion and ITK from many of these guys. If you really are ITK and only interested in sharing your stuff with other fans why not make a separate account where you only deal with the rumours and snippets you get by virtue of being in the know? For some of these supposedly ITKs it seems it's just as important to amass a huge amount of followers and blab on about anything from ITK to baby toys. That's a problem because if fame is as important as sharing then it's easy to exaggerate and embellish, something a certain tweeter we all know had a knack for doing in the last TW. I don't doubt that these guys get some info, it's just the way they go about sharing it and then them acting like primadonnas if we question it that bothers me.

I have no idea what possesses a person to log onto Twitter and direct abuse at someone be they ITK, rumoured ITk or to be honest, fucking anyone at all.

Sure there's a bit of bitching and moaning around at the moment but compared to what you get on an unmoderated forum (ie the 'comments' next to a streaming site or suchlike) I think this place is pretty civilised and anything out of order gets shot down pretty quickly and effectively.

Also for anyone on Twitter receiving abuse, I can totally understand distress and it's a disgrace, but there is a 'Block' button'.
