We need to bid for Dempsey now so that we could complete it in time if Moutinho collapses at 10:30. We'll work on both deals in tandem with the aim of landing Moutinho, but having the option to fall back on. I think we'll get Mouts, and Liverpool will get Dempsey.

S'all good guys. After putting himself in limbo, why would Moutinho allow the deal he's been pushing for to fall down at the last hurdle? His agent works for him, not t'other way around.

Dempsey? I don't know about anyone else, but that doesn't exactly have me ordering a new shirt. Thankfully it's according to Sky, meaning it might happen if his pig lands in time.

The big question is which rabbit is Dan the man going to pull out of his rather large, striker-shaped hat at 22:45?!

Dempsey can play wide, which is where we could do with options. Proven PL player, will score goals. May have to go for a cheaper option in order to fund Moutinho and Lloris and maybe a striker

Yeah, Dempsey is more likely the backup to Remy and Willian than Moutinho.

It's obviously in Portuguese. It says he has flown with the Porto squad to the Algarve for their next match but it also notes that neither Porto's president or main director is on the flight... So not all bad.

It's a good sign since there are more flights from Faro to London than from Porto to London.
