Tbh 3rd or 4th most important signing this window imo behind modric replacement, Ledley replacement and 2 desperately needed strikers - understand the logic of buying a quality keeper given Brads age but can't say it was anywhere near as vital as other signings made/to be made

I agree but we dont choose when a keeper is available.
I do think you underestimate the importance though - the keeper is also a sweeper in AVBs system - lets be honest Friedel is shit at anything other than shot stopping.
