The choice is £250m for a stadium in Stratford plus enhanced corporate revenue or £450m for the same stadium, plus a hotel, housing, supermarket, etc in Tottenham, but we will get back the additional £200m once the other stuff has been completed.
So, the main differences are enhanced corporate revenue at Stratford versus increased investment and increased risk at the NDP, with ENIC having to front up some of the investment up front until such time as they get it back.
I'm genuinely not arguing that Stratford does not present better revenue enhancing options with a lower front end investment.
My issue is that the way in which the leaks, PR spin, call it what you want is that the NDP is not financially viable.
It is and we will be better off than we are now.
Ask yourself this - if it wasn't, would Levy had submitted a second planning application with revised plans at additional cost and agreed the amounts which THFC had to pay Haringey to get it approved?
Yes, because the ability to build is an asset, even if Enic are waiting for a white knight to come and do it.
There's scope for more development in Tottenham if the club move to Stratford, isn't there, probably at a cheaper price? That has to go into the Stratford package.
